Proxy Centre is the official car operator at SPIEF 2018

Russia’s biggest business event, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), will be held at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre on 24–26 May. Since 2012, Proxy Centre has participated in organizing the Forum. This year, the company will be operating SPIEF’s official cars for event speakers and participants.

Mercedes-Benz is the official car of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum: 400 luxury, executive, and business cars will transport the SPIEF participants, including 150 Mercedes-Benz S-class, 100 Mercedes-Benz E-class, 100 Mercedes-Benz V-class, and 50 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Brand-new cars will be delivered to St. Petersburg by specially equipped carriers. Once the vehicles are marked with the Forum’s logo, they will be ready for use. Currently, Proxy Centre’s professionals are carefully selecting skilled drivers that meet the high criteria and demands of Russia's biggest economic forum.

The company’s employees will control allocation of vehicles to the Forum participants and monitor compliance with driver shifts and the drivers’ daily physicals.

Prior to the Forum, Proxy Centre’s maintenance service will thoroughly inspect the cars to preclude breakdowns. Such inspections will also be held regularly during the Forum.

“Building a Trust Economy” is the key theme of SPIEF 2018. The plenary session attended by Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and Shinzō Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will be the Forum’s central event. SPIEF’s programme features over 90 events, including business sessions, panel discussions, business dialogues, thematic business breakfasts, TV debates, etc. Business programme events will be grouped into four principal thematic blocks: “The Global Economy in an Era of Change”, “Harnessing Russia’s Growth Potential”, “Human Capital in the Digital Economy” and “Technology for Leadership”.
