G20 Sherpas’ meeting

On October 23-24, 2013 Russia's G20 Presidency hosted its concluding Sherpas' Meeting in Moscow. The G20 Sherpas met to review the latest progress of the G20 work streams, give an assessment of the outcomes of the Russian Presidency and discuss possible ways to further enhance the G20's efficiency.

Proxy Centre company completed a range of serious organizational tasks both within the lead time and during the G20 Sherpas’ meeting in Moscow.

Host liaison officers provided qualified informational support to the delegations and entirely regulated logistics at the venue as well.

Meet-and-greet service was promptly organized at all airports of Moscow. Proxy Centre transport service specialists delivered regular shuttle-buses which took the participants to the designated hotels, the venue and backwards.

The following materials were elaborated by our Information Service:

  • Administrative circular (the Newsletter of logistic);
  • Newsletters with the relevant data within the Meeting (meet-and-greet service at the airports, cultural programme and etc.)
  • Delegate’s handbook (content, design, layout and proof leaf)

Proxy Centre transport service specialists delivered regular shuttle-buses to the airports of Moscow (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo) and railway stations as well (Kievskiy, Belorussky and Paveletsky). Mercedes Sprinter and Mercedes Viano vehicles were provided for the participants’ transportation.

Transport Service specialists developed detailed traffic routs adjacent to the venue of the event (Lotte Plaza Hotel) and also provided:

  • Parking lots;
  • Access and exit roads;
  • Landing places.

Cultural programme for the participants was provided at support of the Poxy Centre Company. The guests were delivered from the Lotte Plaza Hotel to the Ivanovskaya square in ManLionCoach buses.

The rout of the proposed excursion was pre-agreed by the Kremlin security service: the buses proceeded to the Kremlin through the Borovitskie gates and parked at the Ivanovskaya square.

When the excursion was over, the participants were delivered to the “Kalina bar” restaurant for the welcome reception hosted by the Russian Sherpa, with dinner completed the guests were taken to the Lotte Plaza hotel.
