Last Saturday was a final day of 18th St.Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The meeting resulted in a wide range of undertook agreements, which have great significance for economic development of the Russian Federation and strengthening of international cooperation. «Proxy Centre» Co.Ltd. are proud of participating in the preparation process of such a paramount event.

Seven thousands of guests participated in the 18th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, including 1,7 thousands of mass media representatives. Notwithstanding the Ukraine political exacerbation concerns, global business communities showed top-notch interest to the event. Series of decisions were made on SPIEF-2014, such as reaching agreements with Visa and MasterCard payment systems, which will continue performance on the Russian market. In the eye of the Russian Minister of Economic Development, Alexey Ulyukaev, special focus was on economic growth of the Russian Federation, building dialogue between business and government, general analysis of international markets. «Rosneft» made a record in concluding more than 50 agreements, expending cooperation horizons with the most important partners. Speech of the Russian Federation President, Vladimir Putin, opened Plenary Session «Sustaining confidence in a world undergoing transformation» and became one of the key moments of the Forum. No wonder, that Russian President became most cited Forum’s participant.
Within the framework of SPIEF-2014 prearrangement, «Proxy Centre» specialists executed a great work. In particular, our company was fully responsible for accreditation process of participants, personnel and transport vehicles. On the shoulders of «Proxy Centre» crew lied creation of technical support service, that elaborates technical plans of the venue, schedules of operational works, supervision of international Broadcasting Center and Press Center flawless work, floral and banner décor of the central venue, providing setting-up of kitchen equipment and control launching of dining areas for participants and personnel.
«Proxy Centre» Co. Ltd. recruited and multi-trained employees, they were senior administrators in all business zones of the Forum.
«For coordination of venue prearrangement, we did a giant work, - says Sergey Ivanov, head of technical management department of the «Proxy Centre», - We always work for a full due, but this event requires special responsibility – it is not for nothing that one of our task was arrangement of President’s zone. Totals of the Forum shows that our company and its partners has coped with set challenges and contributed a lot to the success of the current event».

1155 were involved in installation/dismantling works (1128 temporary passes were handed directly to them).
Most popular events besides Forum’s business program were Sberbank session «New competitiveness: alternatives and prospects» with 1400 participants, and such sessions as «What steps are needed to bring Russia’s stalled economy to a new phase of sustained growth?» (205 people), panel session «Translating challenges into opportunities: acting together» (280 people), «The integration of global energy grids: joint projects for the future» (233 people), «Investing in Russia’s urban development future» (206 people).
