VII BRICS Academic Forum: Cooperation for Growth, Security and Prosperity

On May, 22-23 VII BRICS Academic Forum: Cooperation for Growth, Security and Prosperity took place in Moscow. Each year, the Forum brings together representatives of the expert community to develop a consolidated position on cooperation within BRICS.

The organizer of the Forum was National Committee on BRICS Research (Russia), and a good share of work was entrusted to the “Proxy Centre” company. The meeting venue of the event became a luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Moscow.

This project ­­– is a part of a long-term cooperation and “Proxy Centre” company was chosen as one of the organizational partners, taking part in carrying out meetings within the frames of Russia’s Presidency in BRICS in 2015. Company’s specialists took care about online registration portal and on-site accreditation, venue’s building-up and branding according to the BRICS corporate identity.  We also provided transport services, informational and logistical support for the participants.

On his addressing speech, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Russia's BRICS Sherpa Sergei Ryabkov pointed out BRICS academic community’s invaluable contribution in BRICS development. "Barely 10 years in, and it is already a very important, serious and influential factor in global development and problem-solving." – added Sergei Ryabkov.

Guests of honour also included Chair of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachyov; Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Pushkov; Deputy Head of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Georgy Petrov; President of the Russian Banks Association Garegin Tosunyan; Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy; Dean of the School of World Economics and World Politics at the National Research University-Higher School of Economics Sergei Karaganov; Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of Latin America and Executive Director of the Gorchakov Foundation for Public Diplomacy Support Leonid Drachevsky.
