On July 19-20, Moscow hosted the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting.
The participants discussed the following issues: the G20 Framework agreement for strong, sustainable and balanced growth; IFA's reform; the financial regulation reforms and financial inclusion, and also financing for investment (one of the priorities of the Russian G20 Presidency), counteracting tax base erosion and profit shifting, as well as energy sustainability, commodity markets transparency and climate finance. The outcome of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting is reflected in the Communiqué.
Proxy Centre company was actively involved in all major organizational activities. The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors were provided with executive vehicles (Mercedes-Benz S-class), while we also arranged transfers for the delegations – comfortable minibuses Mercedes-Benz Viano и Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
Proxy Centre transport service specialists delivered regular shuttle-buses within the meet-and-greet service for the participants. For the first ever joint meeting of the G20 Finance and Labour Ministers the participants were provided with transfers escorted by the police.
Proxy Centre information service took control over the on-line accreditation process. The participants were provided with necessary reference data: visa, accommodation and transport support, respective persons’ contacts, general info about the host country, attire, medical services, etc. Information service specialists worked out a delegate handbook (including content, design, typography and proofreading), that provided the delegates with all logistic and general info about Moscow and the participants of that meeting.
Host liaison officers provided the delegations with all necessary information support both within the lead time of the meeting, and directly at the venue. Liaison officers did their best to promote support for the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, specially invited Finance Ministers of Spain, Switzerland, Ethiopia and Senegal, heads of such international organisations as International Labor Organisation, World Bank, Eurasian Development Bank, Financial Stability Fund, Development Committee, Bank for International Settlements, United Nations Organization and OECD.
Our company invited more employees to work with the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors and worked out instructional trainings in order to provide the participants with upscale services. Host liaison officers assistants, controlled by their respective host liaison officers, took responsibility for meet-and-greet service at the airports of Moscow, provided logistic and informational support. In order to elaborate meet-and-greet service our specialists worked out special regulations for the respective staff.
Arranging upscale accreditation services in Manezh has already become a conventional object for the specialists of the Proxy Centre company. However the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting is considered to be a high-level event, the team accomplished their work like a clockwork.
