On February 12 the first G8 Accountability Working Group (AWG) Meeting took place in Moscow. The main task for the AWG is the preparation of the annual accountability report on the G8 development commitments for the annual G8 Leaders' Summit which will be held this year in Sochi on June 4-5. During the first meeting experts discussed a range of commitments to be included in the report.
On February 13-14, Moscow will host the first G8 Health Experts Group Meeting.
Among one of the priority items of the Russia's G8 Presidency - the global health security - representatives of the G8 member-countries and the relevant international organizations will discuss the risks and threats to the international community, associated with the spread of existing and new infections, as well as suggestions for possible actions that may take G8 to reduce these threats.
The work of the G8 Health Experts Group will focus on developing initiatives and solutions that can be offered to the Leaders for consideration and adoption at the G8 Leaders' Summit on 4-5 June 2014 in Sochi.
International Organizations such as WHO, UNAIDS, OECD also joined this meeting. Next expert group meeting is planned on April 2014.
«Proxy Centre» LLC also took part in preparation and organization process. IT-specialists rendered full range of services during online registration and accreditation of the participants and personnel. We worked up special portals for delegates’ registration. For each country and international organization there was a personal account.
Our IT-specialists worked out a common badges’ protocol. Moreover, accreditation desk was also working during the meeting for participants’ convenience, where it was possible to get a badge and accreditation to both meetings. Our specialists also trained accreditation temporary personnel.
Besides, we continue implementation of new software, which is working well and is very simple and convenient in use. We also tuned all the accreditation equipment before the meeting.
All the delegated were more than satisfied with our level of work and organization, marking the efficiency of accreditation work, even comparing with best world practices.
