The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organization creation of which was proclaimed on 15 June 2001 in Shanghai (China) by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The main goals of the SCO are strengthening mutual confidence and good-neighbourly relations among the member countries; promoting effective cooperation in politics, trade and economy, science and technology, culture as well as education, energy, transportation, tourism, environmental protection and other fields; making joint efforts to maintain and ensure peace, security and stability in the region, moving towards the establishment of a new, democratic, just and rational political and economic international order.
The SCO Council of National Coordinators Meeting was held in Moscow on 8-9 November, as part of Russia's SCO Presidency.
The meeting participants discussed preparations for the SCO Heads of Government Council Meeting on 14-15 December 2014, in Astana, Kazakhstan. They also exchanged views on the organization's functioning, enlargement, and enhanced cooperation with the SCO observer states and dialogue partners.
It is the first meeting within Russian Presidency in the SCO, which Proxy Centre company has organized. “We are proud of take part in arranging such kind of event, - says director general Sergey Lazutkin, - It is a sign of a high confidence to our service and quality, it means that we are able to accomplish most tricky and privileged organizing tasks”
Eight delegations participated in the meeting: Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, SCO Secretariat and RATS SCO (The Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure).
Every department of our company contributed to the meeting’s organization. For instance, during the preparation period and on the meeting venue there were Liaison Officers serving as a point of contact for Heads of Delegations on issues related to logistics and administration.
Heads of delegations were met in Moscow on executive-class chauffeured car, attached for the whole period of their stay in the city. For other delegates there were shuttles to the places of their living and on the way back to the airport. To listen to masterful play of Denis Matsuev for all the delegates there was a comfortable bus to the Bolshoi Theatre.
To ease the event registration process our specialist designed bespoke online delegate registration portal, using latest in-house technologies. There was also Accreditation desk on the meeting venue, distributing specifically tailored badges and bags.
Congress-hall was also under control of Proxy Centre’s specialists. This, at a glance, invisible performance, consisting in monitoring availability and integrity of the congress equipment assists in maintaining the highest event level.
