On the 1st of March 2019 the first Business-Dialogue "Italy-Russia" was held in Brescia, Italy with the participation of representatives of business communities and public circles of the Italian Republic and the Russian Federation.
The Proxy Centre сompany together with the Association Synergy Italy-Russia took part in the preparation and carrying out Business-Dialogue "Italy-Russia", the key purpose of which was the presentation of current investment opportunities for Russia and Italy, taking into account the prevailing economic conditions and the formation of bilateral business projects in various sectors of the economy.
During the business program the Italian speakers discussed the possibility of activating business and joint projects with Russian companies from key industries: automotive, industrial production, agriculture, IT and etc.
The Russian delegation was represented by experts of the leading University, heads of technological projects of industrial companies and coordinators of export directions. Thus, during the plenary session, Andrey Aleksankov, Director of International Institute of Economy and Policy of Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics, presented analytics of data and trends in international trade between Italy and Russia, as well as analysis of the investment climate between Russia and Italy. Pavel Kazakov, Lawyer, Chamber of Lawyers of Saint-Petersburg, told about the practice of starting a business in Russia, discussing the tax system, organizational forms and other legal aspects. Marina Rakhmanova, Deputy General Director of Proxy Centre, presented the opportunities of the existing special economic zones (SEZ) in Russia and their key benefits for residents.
During the sections, Italian and Russian business practices presented developments in the field of blockchain for verification of the authenticity of luxury goods, verification of drilling rigs for oil and gas companies, as well as opportunities for users of medical equipment. Special attention was drawn to the issues of breakthrough technologies related to the Industry 4.0.
An important part of the Business-Dialogue program was the bilateral negotiations between Italian and Russian enterprises, the participants of which were satisfied with the prospects for the development of joint projects. In addition, the Business-Dialogue "Italy-Russia" presented to the participants an evening cultural program, as part of which the historic hotel Vittoria hosted a performance of the legendary choir of Alpine shooters.
On the 3rd of May, 2019 the second Business-Dialogue "Italy-Russia" will be held in Modena, Italy. The business program will include the most important applied issues: blockchain technology for solving logistics and navigation problems, presentations of representatives of special economic zones, presentations of start-ups and others.
