“Proxy Centre” company will take part in transport support for FIFA Confederations Cup and FIFA World Championship

“Proxy Center” company became an open bid winner on transport support of FIFA World Championship and associated events in three clusters out of four: Western (Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad), Central (Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk) and Southern (Sochi, Rostov na Donu, Volgograd).

The first steps will start in June within FIFA Confederations Cup, to take place on June, 17 until July, 2, 2017. Proxy Centre company will provide its vehicles and drivers and train embedded specialists for transport zones.

FIFA Confederations Cup is a big football tournament, which takes place in a country, hosting FIFA World Championship the year before. Current champions of the six conferderations (AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA), as well as winner of the previous FIFA Championship and national team of hosting country take part in the FIFA Confederations Cup. In the current year following teams will take part in the tournament: Russia (host), Germany (winner of year 2014), Australia (winner of the AFC Asian Cup), Chili (winner of the Copa América), Mexico (CONCACAF Cup), Portugal (Championship of Europe), New Zealand (OFC winner) and Cameroon (Africa Cup of Nations winner).

Matches of FIFA Confederations Cup will take place in four cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. Proxy Centre company is responsible for transport support in three cities such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Sochi. Currently the company organizes the work of focus groups in the cities and designs dispatch services and vehicle’s operations department.

In the year 2018 Proxy Centre will provide transport support of the FIFA World Championship in11 cities:  Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Rosov na Donu and Volgograd.

In the area of responsibility is covering the transport needs of the Organizing Committee and client groups, meeting the highest standards of the operational processes and services.
