Proxy Centre specialists are organising transport and information desks and transport areas ahead of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, which will be held in Russia from 17 June through 2 July 2017.
Proxy Centre will operate transport areas and transport and information desks in all four host cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. The company was awarded the contract to provide the services as a result of an open tender held by the Autonomous non-profit organisation “Russia-2018”.
Efficient operation of the transport areas will ensure compliance with the originally developed traffic plans at the Confederations Cup venues, fast parking, and passenger pickup and drop-off. The transport and information desks will be an important component of the information services. They will enable tournament guests, organisers and participants to obtain timely and comprehensive information about transport services throughout the event.
In fulfilling the contract, the company will draw on the experience it gained during its involvement in the 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Sochi. During this, the biggest sporting event in the history of contemporary Russia, Proxy Centre developed a system of information and transport desks at the Olympic facilities and ensured their effective operation during the Games. The company was also involved in organising the activities of mobile inspectors, who provided services to passengers at transport and transfer hubs in Adler, Krasnaya Polyana, Khosta, Matsesta, Esto-Sadok, the Olympic Village and the Olympic Park. Furthermore, in 2015, Proxy Centre successfully established and ensured uninterrupted operation of transport areas during the draw for the 2018 World Cup.
“The company’s experience and its personnel potential ensure provision of high quality and timely transport services with supreme service for all participants, organisers and guests of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup”, says CEO of Proxy Centre Sergey Lazutkin.
In addition to organising the transport areas and transport and information desks, Proxy Centre is responsible for transport services in three 2017 Confederations Cup host cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi.
