As part of Russia's APEC chairmanship, a tourism ministerial meeting took place in Khabarovsk July 23-24. Alexander Radkov, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation, was the head of the Russian delegation.
Tourism is an invaluable source of economic growth and a means for economic integration in the Asia-Pacific region. Even though the level of its development differs in various APEC economies, all the participants share the same goal to improve the current services.
Sustainable development of tourism contributes to economic growth in the region, job creation, investment attraction, poverty decrease and environmental protection.

APEC Tourism Ministers concluded their meeting in Khabarovsk by issuing a Declaration.
Specialists of the «Proxy Centre» company provided upscale transport services for the delegations. The car fleet of the Khabarovsk city government became the main partner of «Proxy Centre» during this event. More than 100 vehicles were allocated for participants’ transportation, which included 50 Toyota Camry cars, provided for individual VIP customer service.
