10th World Conference on Sport and the Environment

In the period from 30th of October to the 1st of November, in the capital of XXII Olympic Games and XI Paralympic Games – Sochi, 10th World IOC Conference on Sport and the Environment was held.

The Conference was organized by the UNEP, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in partnership with the Russian Government, the Russian Olympic Committee – 2014. Once in two years, 10th World Conference on Sport and the Environment is the main initiative of the International Olympic Committee in the field of environmental protection, which gathers representatives of Olympic society, United Nations, social and political organizations, scientists.  

The opening ceremony began with welcome speeches of Deputy Chairman of the Government - Mr.  Dmitry Kozak, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology for the Russian Federation - Mr.  Sergei Donskoi, President of the International Olympic Committee – Mr. Thomas Bach, President of the Russian Olympic Committee - Mr.  Alexander Zhukov, IOC Conference Director – Mr. Thomas Sithole.

“Proxy Centre” company was also actively involved into organizing of this event. Within the shortest period of time, our IT-specialists worked up  special software for accrediting participants. They also came to Sochi to support the accreditation process in the meeting venue. Setting up and launching of accreditation point was made in time. Our specialists also trained temporary personnel on this software product.   There was a continuous work of the accreditation point during all period of the Conference, and in case of necessity, our specialists were rendering assistance and support regularly. Totally, around 650 badges were given to the participants.

 Organizers distinguished high level of company technical equipment, convenience, flexibility and simplicity of our software, and also our willingness to present wide range of accreditation services very quickly.

The parties expressed a mutual satisfaction with work conducted which would serve a purpose of strengthening cooperation between each other.
