On June 3, 2015 Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs took place in Moscow. The meeting began with the visit to the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. On the agenda were key issues regarding the SCO’s work during Russia’s Presidency in 2014–2015, and preparations for the SCO Summit, which will take place on July 9–10 in Ufa. Today's Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting is a key moment in preparing for the summit.
As a result of the meeting an agreed-upon package of documents has been submitted for the consideration of countries' leaders, the SCO Development Strategy Towards 2025 holds a special place. Among other important documents are drafts of the Ufa declaration, draft statements in connection with the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazism in World War II and statements regarding the problem of the drug threat.
Besides reviewing draft summit documents, the participants discussed terrorist threat on the Middle East, North of Africa. Situation in Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq and Libya.
The meeting venue was Radisson Royal, Moscow hotel – one of seven famous buildings in Moscow, known as Seven Sisters.
Proxy Centre company was dealing with a block of organizational tasks, involving online registration and in-house participants’ accreditation points operation. Our employees also were working on the venue providing extensive administrative, logistical and informational support. Each Head of Delegation were guaranteed with chauffeured company car for all the period of stay in Moscow, for other delegates were organized special transfers from the airport to the hotel of living and on the way back. The area of the meeting was set-up according to prepared earlier layouts and branded in line with the SCO signage.
