On September 3-5 Vladivostok hosted first Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) a unique in its scale and the level of expertise of its participants as a platform for constructive dialog between representatives of the international investment community, business, and the governments of both Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific Region (APR).
Objectives of the Eastern Economic Forum are improvement of relations between the international investment community, Russian business, and Federal and local governments, а comprehensive expert assessment of the economic potential of East Russia, as well as the improvement of the competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the region, both at the Russian and international level and presentation of new conditions for investments and doing business by means of exclusive procedures created for East Russia – the Territory of Priority Development and the Free Port of Vladivostok.
Within the framework of the Forum “Proxy Centre” company was involved into organization of guests’ accreditation system. There were 30 Accreditation desks: 15 of them were functioning on the meeting venue and 15 on the remote object in Vladovostok International Airport. Totally during the Forum 2520 people were accredited by our staff, including 1824 delegates, 55- media representatives and 32 foreign delegations.
As a result of the Eastern Economic Forum Russia have concluded more than 80 memorandums and agreements to the amount of 1,3 billion rubles. The format of the cooperation with Asia-Pacific Region is decided to be held on a regular basis. The meeting venue is going to be the same – Far Eastern Federal University.
