Proxy Centre Goes Through SPIEF Preparations

On June, 18 opens Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum – the leading decision-makers of the emerging economic powers to identify and deliberate the key challenges facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world at large, while engaging communities to find common purpose and establish frameworks to forge solutions which will drive the growth and stability agenda. The slogan of this year’s Forum will be Time to Act: Shared Paths to Stability and Growth. Despite sanctions regime interest to the event grows from day to day as well as among foreign participants.

Proxy Centre company has been involved into SPIEF organization for many years and is traditionally responsible for a broad scope of works.

Accreditation of Delegates

Proxy Centre is in charge of the whole accreditation process, including participants’ accreditation, accreditation of operating personnel, transport and driver accreditation.

For now accreditation points successfully operate in Moscow, Ministry of Economic Development and in St. Petersburg, Opochinin Street. By the beginning of the Forum, Central Accreditation Point in the 4th pavilion of «Lenexpo» and 11 points will be operating in the airport, railway stations and in the recommended hotels to guarantee smooth and flawless procedure.

Configuration of accreditation points is 70% of own in-house equipment, which completely meets high up-to-date requirements. That contributes to making accreditation procedure easy and quick for guests and employees of the Forum.  

Technical Management

Technical management of the Proxy Centre has been working as a Technical Support service for St. Petersburg International Economic Forum already for several years by now.  This service elaborates all the technical plans and schedules of operational works, controls timing and deadlines of our contracting organizations, coordinates contractors on the venue and make a batch-wise quality check.

For now the preparations are at the final stage: we are making finishing touches and fit check. Several hundreds of contractors are doing their best to organize the event.

Transport Support

One of the most crucial elements in organizing the meeting is transport support. This year Proxy Centre company as official transport operator of the Forum traditionally took part in the transportation provision of the Forum. During the preparation process our specialists were planning shuttles’ logistics, elaborating traffic routes and parking zones, handling transport support applications, controlling vehicles branding and distribution of transport passes. We also organized unified dispatcher service, instructed and trained drivers, transport coordinators and remote objects coordinators. To provide organization of traffic and parking zones we arranged special SPIEF navigation signs close by the venue.     

Congress Management

Withing the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum’s preparation, Proxy Centre compamy has recruited and trained 23 employees to the position of Senior Administrator of congress halls on SPIEF 2015 venue. As a kind of tradition, specialists of «Proxy Centre» Co. Ltd. instructed personnel, which was attracted specially for the project. All the senior administrators are trained on specifics of work on assigned objects and on the whole SPIEF venue.

The work of administrators regards to the «congress management» line and is closely connected with providing efficient and smooth functioning of all Forum’s business zones: congress halls, business meeting rooms, individual meeting areas, and common Forum’s areas.

Tasks of senior administrator embraces a variety of tasks: hall’s prearrangement for the Forums’ meetings, gut check of equipment, control and guaranteeing of participants’ seating compliance with a seating plan, supervision of interpreters’ technical outfit readiness, coordination of assistants and technical personnel work, conducting quality express polls among participants and reporting on halls’ occupancy during all days of the Forum.
